Algae twice now cloudy pool

Let me get this totally straight I got algae twice in a month, used shock. I used no phos or pho’s free leslies for phosphates. My chemistry is perfect now. However putting shock in the pool creates white clouds that that thick. Milky water, not sure what to do.
This is chlorine pool. I feel like the no phos screwed me up. I’m running pump at full speed with clarifier. Looked clear this morning but white everywhere. Ran bot just made it murky again. Help please. I think it needs flocking, let run two hours then shut off a day, then vacuumed.

It doesn't really sound like you are following TFP processes or using the ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry to see you through. If you're going to the pool store, that is a majority of the problem. That $60 bottle of magic potion won't resolve anything for you. Also, we don't "shock" our water, we follow the SLAM Process using a TF-100 (link below) or Taylor K-2006C test kit. So the best thing to do at this point is post a full set of water test results for us to evaluate. From there we can assist you better.
