Algae? Stain?

Hey all, have a few spots that look like this in my pool and spa. They have been there for a week or so, haven’t gotten any larger and haven’t seen more. I believe they are a stain or some kind but being new to all this wanted to make sure they weren’t Algae.

Water is clear and sparkling. Levels look and have been right (dropped a little too much acid in the other day hence the pH being a little low)

Would appreciate any identification or recommendations!

Probably a rebar or rebar tie.

Try a strong magnet to see if it sticks to the spot.
