Our water balance is perfect and pool is crystal clear BUT both of our lights are growing algae.
I have read that organics will eat the FC. Ours is stable. I have read that you must have something in the water that is contributing to this.
However, is it possible to just take out the lights and soak them in bleach?
Here are yesterday's numbers:
FC 6
CH 400
CYA 80
pH 7.5 (only after we dumped 8 cups in bc we, for the first time in a very long time, had to add city water) - fill water was 0 chlorine and 125 CH but 400 on TA
TA 80
today the FC was still 6 and pH still 7.5. These numbers have been steady but for the high TA issue we have been battling for a year now.
