Akalinity test for Taylor 2006 Pinkish Red or Full Red

Good Afternoon
I am testing for akalinity with the Taylor 2006. Once I get close to the approximate akalinity number it turns pinkish red, then when I add 1 more drop it turns completely red. Can someone give a definite answer whether to stop at the pinkish red since it's the first red I see or use the last drop as the count when it goes to full red? Thank you

Continue adding drops as long as the color continues changing. The final drop, that does not change the color any further, does not count.

I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.

What Marty wrote is true for ALL of the titration tests. Count drops until there is no further color change and discount the drop that made no change.
