Hi everyone,
I have a quick question about ahhsome and hot tub filters. We have a Hot Spring Envoy that's 1.5 years old. I do an ahhsome purge and draine every 3-6 months. I happened to do one 3 months ago and decided to again today on a warm day before the rest of winter sets in.
My question: I forgot to remove the filters before the purge. I have sprayed down and will rinse of the filters as usual. But, does the ahhsome damage the filters? Or is it more a concern that the gunk/biofilm will clog up the filters? Is the ahhsome itself damaging in any way to the filters?
Just curious if there's anything I need to do now. Fortunately I had just purged three months ago, so there wasn't a ton of gunk purged out on the water line by the ahhsome purge.
Thanks for your help. I've been using the bleach to dichlor method learned on the forum and it's AMAZING. I've told a few friends with new hot tubs about it too and saved them the headaches of following the silly instructions from the sellers.
