Trenching 2" pvc tomorrow and when I come up to the pool should connect with hard pipe or flex? I was thinking any pool movement may cause problems with rigid pipe? Also what connectors should I use or replace?

Hard pipe will be fine, I’ve got mine done that way. Make sure to put a valve in for each so you can shut down water flow if needed, and unions as well to make it easy to disconnect.

You will require proper fittings that can be glued, the ones in the picture only accept soft piping that uses hose clamps.

No problem with rigid pipe right to the pool. I have it as well with no issues.

Those flex pipe fittings unscrew and then you can buy Threaded to glue adaptors for your pipe.

Put in valves and unions so if you have to service or change anything out you can do so without cutting pipe and plugging your skimmer and return.
