AGP Mesh Winter Cover

After fighting with my water logged winter cover each spring, I decided to purchase a mesh winter cover: https://www.poolsupplies.com/product/micro-mesh-21-ft-round-swimming-pool-cover

I put it on yesterday and am anxiously awaiting checking on it tonight as we had rain all day. I pulled it tight and clamped it to the rail caps.

Does anyone have one of these? How does it work?

You are about to see how dirty our air and snow is up this way . I am not that far from you as i'm just across from Detroit in Canada.
For sure get the leaves off asap as once they sit they will rot and the juices from them will drop into your water.

I use a mesh cover like that. Love it. Let me give you a little trick. Put in some tubes or floats or something to elevate the cover above the water. So then the leaves and debris will be on a dry cover and just blow off themselves. you don't want the cover touching the water or you'll get a "leaf soup" in the water. In the spring you'll just have to vacuum some fine dirt from the bottom no biggie.

Also be prepared to occasionally have to use a submersive pump sometimes to drain the water from the pool if it gets too high from rain.

When there is heavy snow in the forecast I either take the cover off all together or let it rest on the water. You don't want it pulled tight during snow because the weight of the snow may pull the rails. At least that's what I think.
