Hi everyone

I've passed the OCLT a couple days ago. My pool water looks as clear as it can get( Thank you for the advises that was given from here ). But I always noticed that there's some black stuff build up at the bottom of the pool if I do not vacuum daily. Is that normal?? Or I still have Algae somewhere?? I've cleaned my filter twice ever since my water turned clear from the opening day ( 11 days ago ). I guess my questions would be 1) Do I still have Algae living in my pool?
2) Do I need new cartridges for my filter?

PS. I'll try to upload another photo... But it just won't let me, always disappears when uploads hit 96% ( Not sure why?? )

Thank you in advance!!

If you passed all three criteria to end your SLAM, I would be inclined to think that you are just battling the environment. How's your FC demand?

I know that all my patio furniture is covered in a layer of dust and pollen, it could be that as well.

Are those pictures after you cleaned the cartridges?

Thanks for your replied. Yes. Those pictures were taken after I washed them with a normal garden hose. And I also have a lot of dust on my patio furniture as well. And also across the street from my backyard fence, that neighbor's house is building a pool as well. ( on & off construction since last October and still ongoing.... )
I have not tested the water since I passed the OCLT. I'll do so today. Because It's been raining non-stop lately...http://s1149.photobucket.com/user/alnfong/media/DSC_1756.jpg.html

Thanks again

Rain washes the dust and dirt out of the air....right into your pool! It dilutes the chemistry and dumps dirt to the bottom. Vac and test, dose as required.
