Hi all ... I’m not sure I should have adjusted from 8-7.5 ( I think I read slow adjustments are best ) but I did and now it’s caused my CSI to be low . I have a fountain and so ph climbs on its own . It’s also raining and I’m wondering if it’s not a big deal and I I just wait and retest ph tomorrow or add some borax now ( never used before ... recent tfp pooler ) to get ph closer to 7.8 range . Thanks in advance .

Here’s my pool math numbers

Relax, you're fine. I would not add anything. Let the pool settle and run for a day or two. I suspect with a TA of 100 and the water movement you have, your pH will climb very quickly.

thank you .... I’m just another over zealous pool owner who who has a bad case of the PTPSE ( post traumatic pool store experience)... so thankful for tfp wisdom !
