I just converted my chlorine hot tub to bromine..

My pH levels were off the charts using a Taylor k 2006...

I added some muriatic acid and it turned bright yellow for a half a second...

Is this normal?

Should I be using a different test kit?

I asked the second question because I stuck some test strips in the pool and both test strips said my pH was low...

Ok. I took the tablets out for 24 hour and tested again. It's going down slowly.
Fast forward to a week later. I have put the tablets back in. Everything is starting to balance out. Have soaked a couple of times and the wife said this was smells great!
