Add pattern to vinyl pool

I have a Splash Super pool, where the liner is the pool and can't be replaced like other pools. It's old, solid blue and has lots of stains.

I'd like to add some sort of pattern to it to give it a nice tranquil look and hide some of the discolored areas.

Is anyone aware of a product for adding a pattern to a vinyl pool?

I haven't seen anything like that, (doesn't mean it doesn't exist, of course) but there were some posts from a few years ago where people lined their framed pools with a regular vinyl liner. I'll see if I can find it.......

Found it!

Installing replacement liner inside of Intex 18' metal frame

I imagine you might be able to come up with a way to so something similar, even with the different shape. Though the supports might make it more challenging.

VHT say they make a vinyl dye for like vinyl car seat covers etc. Not sure if it is an actual dye or a paint type of product. I dont know how it would hold up under water with chlorine though. You would have to ring and find out if it would be suitable

Have you ever looked at trying to remove the stains?

For way out of the box, or pool, maybe you could ring a liner installer or manufacturer and see if they had any offcuts that you could have. Cut them up into interesting shapes and kinda crazy pave the pool with the patches. Would be one of a kind, thats for sure

Still think your easiest option is the one ^^

Mar-Hyde is a vinyl dye used for auto interiors. They made one for vinyl tops at one time, but since that hasn't been popular for many years, I don't know if it still available. Whether it would stand up to pool application...I don't know.

The vinyl dye my husband used on his old hot rod was kind of like a spray paint.

Lol at the picture that the thread I linked came up as. That was not the look I was going for as an exampme. Ha ha. There are other nice examples in the thread.
