actuator orientation question

So i just realized this after mounting the valves and then reading the directions lol, all of my valves are 2 port straight, they are also close so the only way i can mount the actuator is inline.

But in reading the docs on these they don't have that as an option, the show pictures for an inline with the actuator perpendicular to the valve/pipe. I've attached a picture.

The only thing is seems to affect is the handle straight up/down is off, and side ways is on. But in checking cam position docs this case isn't mentioned (maybe switching top and bottom cam from 90-180 to 180-90 will make them make sense?)

Just before i go further want to make sure i understand this will work, i'll be automating it with a sonoff 4chpro.

Cams can be adjusted for any degrees of rotation.

The examples cannot give every possible combination.

There are two cams.

Each cam turns off the micro switch and stops the actuator in a direction.

Each cam can be set anywhere in 360 degrees.

I think your issue may be if the handles clear the actuator body next to it as they move. You may need to leave the handle off which makes it impossible to see valve position.

The clearance for actuators were not considered when the pipes and diverters were laid out.

Thanks for the reply, The handle isn't the problem it clears ok as long as i'm mounted like this inline other wise correct can't mount them perpendicula. i am just confused by examples in these particular actuators docs as my actuator is inline with the valve. But reading a haywards actuator docs it specifically mentions a 2way valve and mounting in any 4 position the action is the same.

So i believe it's just a case of setting cams reverse so on open the handle is up down, and closed right and left (whereas now it's reverse because it's inline..up/down is closed and left/right is open).
