What is everyone's preferred method to get deck boards to the pool.
Are you going below and tuck below top piece of the pool?
Are you going flush with top piece?
Are you going above the top piece?
What are counter measures for winter cover tucking around the deck boards?
What is ideal ladder to mount securely on the deck.
I have attached a simple landing that I would like to do.
Deck crew gave me a few different quotes but I can not pull the trigger on a full deck off the house and tie into the pool.
We also want to use the trek board that is maintenance free.
But I would like to get some input on just keeping the deck plain and just pressure treated wood. No wood color just how often it would need to be done to keep treated.
Thank you

There are many great topics on decks on this site. And some very interesting ideas that a lot of folks have come up with.
Bottom line is your preference and budget.
For me, i put my deck boards under the top rail, when i put the winter cover on a secure it with the cable and actually put my post top caps back on the outside of the tarp to help secure it.
I do have a composite deck, and it does get hot on the feet on hot days, like most any deck would.
You can see the set-up below and in the video in my signature.
