Hi all, I have learned so much from this site. Pool is only a few months old. I have a few questions. My fill water has 275 CH. Will this keep increasing my Pool CH? I have noticed my CH has risen over time. I just don't understand the chemistry yet. As a side note I can't wait till the new plaster stops my PH from rising already tired of daily acid adding.

Welcome to TFP! Yes, the CH will continue to rise. Those uf us who are used to hard water know it will continue to build in the pool. Evaporation only leaves the calcium behind then you add more. Best to use the PoolMath APP and monitor your CSI to ensure the pool water doesn't try to form scale. Keep the CSI slightly negative as best as you can my managing the pH carefully. The pool will cure in a few weeks and hopefully the pH will stabilize.
