A new sound from my Jandy single-speed pump

I didn't hear it last season. Kind of a rattling sound. The water flow is good, everything looks normal, but that sound makes me crazy. Asking for an advice - should I detach the motor from the pump and inspect the inside for some debris or broken parts (impeller?). The pump is 4 years old, drained after each season and stored in a shed.

Thanks!

Hard to tell but I think I could hear that rattle. I would take it apart and check but keep in mind if you do that it might leak when you put it back together.

It's clearly not a metallic kind of a rattle, so keeping in mind that I can make things worse, perhaps it's a good idea to wait until the end of the season (which here in NJ comes early October for me). Thanks!

What is your current psi? Same as last year? are there any bubbles flowing through the pump strainer basket?
PSI on the filter is about the same as last year (10psi). No bubbles under the pump lid after priming is complete, which takes about 2 minutes. I did make changes this year in the plumbing - added a vertical install of Circupool RJ+60 cell, but that's on the return pipe (see the attached pic). I had one concern about the way I reused the existing Jandy valves - inserted 2'' x 1-1/2'' reducing couplings, effectively lowering locally the diameter from 2'' to 1-1/2'', which can be seen in the picture. I don't see any adverse effects of that - the return flow is very good, not worse than before the change. Thanks!

So it looks like the rattle was an early sign of the run capacitor going bad. Finally today the circuit breaker went off. The capacitor dome on top of the motor was extremely hot, so I didn't even try resetting the breaker. My multimeter has shown a few nanofarad capacity instead of 30 mfd. Fortunately, in my box of spare parts (which my wife calls a dumpster), I had a brand new run capacitor 35 mfd 370V. The pump runs quietly again! :)
