IC40 Chlorinator generator

Hello, our pool (32k Gal). salt water. The IC40 Chlorinator generator showing green flashing light = short life. Q: can it be repair or give more life than 6 years. I just had the water checked and the reading shows that needs salt 3700 (4300/4700 range). CYA = 0 (60-99). Concern me. Is there a way to repair or overhall. I hate to throw it away Help

You can try and clean the cell. See if that helps.

6 years is pretty good. Yes, you can try cleaning with muriatc acid.
