New house, new pool, first time pool owner!

I live in Southern Louisiana and our family just purchased a home with a small fiberglass pool, approx 7,000 gallons. Right away within the first two weeks we had to replace leaking gaskets, repair pump impeller from a rock when vacuuming, replace multiport valve, and clear a green pool. I have been crash coursing on this website to say the least...lol.
Fast forward 2-weeks to today and we are just begining to try to enjoy our new found pool. Looking forward to the expertise, experience, and shared frustration as we take on this journey.
