Jen, Kim posted what you need. You want to check your water daily and add bleach daily as needed. I keep my water just above the recommended levels for FC.

Congratulations, Jen!! what an amazing transformation and these wonderful people that guided you along to such stunning results. Like you, we needed to read the pool school (and, for me it was a few times) in order to stop using pucks and begin our evening addition of bleach.
This has equated to incredibly easy maintenance, big savings, and avoided the significant costs (chems + water replacement) and nuisance of constantly increasing CYA levels that come with using pucks versus good ole' bleach for a truly 'trouble free pool.' What a great forum!
