Besides water & hose is there any "deep cleaning" solutions I can make to clean my filters? OR? Ideas:
We noticed an oily film over the top of our pool water when we opened the auto cover -cannot pinpoint what it's about or from. The water doesn't feel oily when touched by hand. The mechanics of the cover are not able to touch the cover from the tube that it winds up on. The cover is about 3 months old & this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks we noticed what looks slightly oily & very minimal on the water surface only before the pump runs. Once the pump runs it goes away. The filters look normal as we clean them monthly they don't get a chance for much to hang around them. The filters are less than 6 months old, nothing abnormal in the pool for debris or such... No bather load in pool about 4 weeks & only once in spa about 3 weeks ago total 4 people.
