I am getting closer to having enough of a design to get started. I have a few questions.
My bar is going to be 10' long and 20" wide with 14" overhang. I want to top it in solid granite, but I would also like some sort of downlighting. How can I accomplish this? My bar front will be done with stone that is dry stacked. I have allowed for 5" depth of stone. Maybe incorporate the lights there?
I also don't know what to do with the back of the bar island. The part that faces the back wall. I'm not planning on putting anything in it as the fridge and ice maker will be in the back bar cabinets. What type of material can I use? I wouldn't mind a few doors or drawers, but do not want to spend the money on the stainless steel stuff. Could I use wood on this side?
Thanks!
