Has anyone come up with a easy way to keep the underside of these steps clean without having to remove the ladder and move the steps towards the middle of the pool?
1. We drilled additional 2" diameter holes into the sides to enhance water circulation.
2. When we add water we place the hose behind the steps.
3. When I brush the pool I push the water against the sides of the steps to force it into the additional holes.
4. When I add bleach I pour a small amount behind the steps and follow that with a few pitchers of water to dilute it.
At the end of the season when we remove the steps there is ever only one very small green spot, located directly in the center under the bottom step where it sits tightly against the pool bottom.
Thanks for the recommendations.
I've been thinking about adding more or larger holes myself.
I used the hose to help clean under them the other day and it worked well but was a little difficult to get done.
It seems as though they trap way to much stuff under them.
