As expected, I returned from vacation to find a yucky pool. I tell you what, I was ---><--- this close to calling the pool guys in, and I'm so glad I didn't!
So long story short, I've been SLAMming this week and i feel like I'm good. OCLT passed, CC is 0, and the water looks amazing. I vacuumed it daily and have back washed the filter plenty.
My question is this, how long does the SLAM level need to be maintained? Do I just let my FC drift back down? Should I add any chlorine in the process? I don't want to NOT add any, but I don't want to keep it super high forever either. I guess I am not sure what level to aim for.
