Confused need come help with CH and Chlorine

Hello,

All readings were in range except CH. Confused, I just put some Hardness Plus into my pool to bring the CH from 175 up. Put in about 12 lbs. This morning CH 225. checked the chlorine this morning and it was low .5-1. Used the PoolMath and put in recommended 3 qts 2 cups 8.5% liquid chlorine at 7:15am. Now at 3:00pm reading no chlorine. ????? help what happened? What do I do? Pool store says typical "Chlorine Block" put in CYA.

Please post a full set of test results. If your CYA is too low, you will lose the FC to the sun quickly. If it is too high, you likely have not maintained the FC high enough and there is something growing in the water consuming the FC.

CYA is low 25 at best. Just tested it.

PH 7.6
FC .5-1
TA 70

I would bump your CYA up to 35. Add some chlorine to get your level up and then do an OCLT to see if anything is growing in there.
