I have a suction side leak but not sucking air. My Pool person says it would not because suction closes the leak. However, when pump is off overnight, and water leaks (about and inch) no loss in prime when it kicks back on the next morning?
A suction side leak invariably pulls air into your system (usually detectable at the pump basket lid) with the pump on. Is it doing that?
