If the body was intact then you don't even need to raise the FC any higher than normal. You can if you want, won't hurt anything, but really no more contaminates than a normal swimmer.
As long as the carcass is intact and your FC was within the recommended range you should be fine. Some folks like to bump up to shock level just for peace of mind, but it is not necessary.
