Hi everyone,
We moved into our house about 2 years ago. The pool is badly in need of resurfacing, so I'm looking into all possible options. (i.e. pebbletec plaster, paint, etc.)
One new idea I've come across in looking at pictures of pools is tiling the entire pool. I understand that one disadvantage of tiling is the cost of doing rounded edges and corners. But what if the pool was square? It's a very modern look. What are the disadvantages to having a pool with square corners and walls, either tiled or plastered? And what would it take to square off the corners and edges of an existing pool? My pool is 14'x30' roughly 3' to 6' deep rectangular except for rounded corners and walls.
One disadvantage of square walls I can think of is that the pool cleaner won't be able to climb the wall.
Thanks for any thoughts/advise!
Chris
