I am learning a lot this week. I bought a used Intex pool. It has a 635T pump. According to the website and youtube, I have it together correctly. I can put my hand over the intake and I can feel it pulling but barely. No water is coming out of the other end. It has a new filter. any ideas or advice?
Help! My pump is barely pulling water and not pushing any.

Is your pump connected to the pool through Intex plunger valves? If it is, check that both are fully open.
Next thing to check is the hose connection to the pump. Is there any debris on the intake screen? If not, look through that screen and check the impeller for debris clogging the vanes. After doing these, make sure all hose connections have their proper O-rings, and are as tight as you can get them by hand.
