AutoPilot Check/Clean Cell

Re: Pool pilot digital- check/clean cell

Cell 28V 3.0A

High voltage and low amps typically indicate a worn cell that needs replacement. How old is your cell? In Florida typical life of an SC-36 cell is about 3 years. Seeing that you've got a 10,000 gallon pool you may be able to get a bit longer out of it.

You may want to check the salt level because if it's actually low and needs to be calibrated, you'll get the Check/Clean Cell display too. Is the AutoPilot on the same circuit as the circulation pump? If you turn off the pump, does the AutoPilot also power down? If not, and it's on its own circuit breaker, cycle the breakers off and back on. The reason for this is that if you're wired for 220 volts but it's only getting 110 volts (possibly because one breaker tripped or is bad).
