Reliable salt chlorinator / control board

I'm getting ready to replace my Goldline Aquarite SWG and was just wondering if there are any brands that have control boards that seem to last longer than 4-5 years? I guess that life is normal but it seems a little crazy to me that someone couldn't manufacture a panel that last longer. Thanks!

I'll also take recommendations on other brands that perform well enough, last just as long as Aquarite & are easy to install. Thanks again!

The boards may not be bad, but there is a known failure point that requires re-soldering a new < $10 part. Of course Hayward or the pool service techs may not tell you this so they can sell you a new board.

I'll take a look, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if this is the issue...definitely worth trying since the fix is so cheap! THANKS!
