Hello, I been having a lot of plumbing problems with my newly installed in ground pool.
The Pool is indoors and has its own pump room in the basement.
I have a Sand filter, pump, Jandy salt system and Hayward pool heater. Do I need to have a check valve between the heater and salt system? I have read that no I dont need one and I have also read I do.
The pump is on a timer, and so is the pool heater. The pool heater will shut off about 15 min before the pump which will allow the water to be cycled through a little while longer.
Do I need a check valve between the pool heater return line and the salt water system? I am leaning towards NO!!
Thanks,
Bruce
