Hello,
I just installed a new Cover Pools SAVE-T COVER II® cover on my inground pool. The last one failed due to degradation of the webbing that attaches the pool cover to the rope that runs inside a track. Seven years old, no real complaints.
The side of the cover that failed is the one that gets the most sun exposure - so my guess is UV sunlight is degrading the fabric.
Is there a product (spray can?) that can be used to block UV damage to fabrics that would help in this application?
Thanks!
