Outdoor Winter Liquid Chemical Storage

Is it OK to store an opened bottle of muriatic acid and liquid chlorine outside in a small shed-like box over the winter? I do not have the freezing points for these items handy. I do store solid products outside.

I'm not a big fan of having hazardous chemicals in my basement over the winter.

If at all possible, keep the chlorine and acid separate so that the fumes don't interact. Muriatic acid can stay outside and is very temperature tolerant. I don't remember if chlorine will tolerate freezing, though.
