New Pool Build Robertson Pools (McKinney TX.)

Today was the dig day! I am so glad they made it a point to get the big back hoe in the small access between the neighbors fence and my house. The whole dig was some sort of slate like rock.

Started with the normal bucket! After about 15 minutes the back hoe operator left on the bobcat and returned with another bucket for rock. This is when I realized these guys were all over it.

So thankful, you could really tell these guys were trying to get it done without running over the allotted 7.5 hrs. When you select your contractor make sure they are prepared for the worst. Thank goodness they were using top notch equipment for this, had they just tried using the mini excavator like others might have I would of been in trouble. Oh yay started digging at 9:30AM and was finished by 4:00PM and they had spent 2 hours the previous day. (Minus a lunch break)

The dig crew showed up about 9:00 AM to move the excavating equipment to the next job about 8 houses down the street.

Day 12 (8/12/13 Mon.) The Gunite crew arrived at 6:30AM for work  Unfortunately I had to go to work however; the Robertson Pools Superintendent (Anita) was in route and ensured me that she would be there. So Robertson Pools sub contracts only three things 1. Electrical 2. Gas and 3. Gunite but the gunite company they have been using for ~15 yrs. so I had a good comfort level with them. When I went outside to move my cars, so I could get to work all the equipment and workers looked impressive. Below I have a few shots early morning and then came home at 11:45AM for lunch and to meet Anita. They were done and gone by the time I arrived.
