Hey everybody,
Got my pool looking good thanks to TFP. But now new issue
The pool was installed in 1979. So it's old. I've noticed some rust spots on the steps and I suspect it's from nail heads starting(or finishing) to poke through the fiberglass. I guess I know this problem isn't going to be cheap. My question is should I attempt to repair the stairs myself next year when I open the pool. Or should I wait and shell out the extra how many thousand when I have a new liner installed. I was hoping to get 3 more years out of the current liner.
I can post pictures tomorrow if you're interested.

Thanks,
