Disconnected Polaris Causing Air In Filter System

Hello Everyone, I recently purchased a Dolphin DX4 to replace my old Polaris which has a booster pump attached to pool filter. Since disconnecting Polaris from the side of the pool there seems to be a lot of air in the system and the pressure is really low. I believe the air in the system is due to disconnecting the Polaris. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this issue?

The polaris (and pump) is on the pressure side of your system and cannot suck in air (pump running) Is the air showing up when you run the pump or when the pump is off?
