This morning there were no lights (presume no power) on my 8 year old ClevaChlor RPC30 system. Before I start dismantling anything are there any fuses or other 'typical' failure points on this system?
If the problem is more than a loose wire/fuse. Given the cell is 8 years old, nigh on impossible to replace (at least for less that $800), does it make sense to just change the whole system? If so what's the best recommendations - my system is all exposed to the southern california elements, so gets plenty of direct sunlight?
Should all the replacement systems (Hayward, Circupool, Jandy) just use the existing wiring and simple cell re-plumb? Anything to avoid?
