Looks great! We are in the process of appointments with pool builders. Presidential is looking like the best so far, but I have Cal Pools coming next week to see what they can offer. I was also suggested to call Cameo Pools, so they might be next.

I live just a couple miles from you too, off Pecos and McQueen.

I finally had a chance to take some final pics of it all done. The landscaping still needs to be finished, but that will be a long process over the next several months.

This last one shows the finish at the steps and different depths. The lighting isn't great. The sun has been intense this week and it's very bright and was hard for my camera to meter correctly.

Equipment pad. They will be coming to run another conduit to run some of the remaining wires through. They added a GVA later and it wouldn't fit through the conduit already there.

Wow, talk about a complete transformation of your yard! The pool, spa, decking and outdoor kitchen are absolutely beautiful! Post some pics of the rest of the landscaping as it all comes together in the next several months. It is going to be a phenomenal yard! Nice to see you guys having fun already! Awesome moment captured on camera!! Congratulations!

I forgot to include these pictures.

One of the things that I loved was that the skimmer and auto fill covers were also done as travertine pavers. There is no round plastic cover sticking out like a sore thumb.

In this pic, you can barely tell (by the small finger holes) where the water fill (closest) and the skimmer (furthest) are on the deck.

This is a close up of the skimmer cover. It's kind of heavy as it's an actual paver, but blends in great!

WOW just WOW that is awesome. As others have said the travertine and pavers are gorgeous. Can I ask what made you choose that pebble color and what color is it? I have a similar greyish color for my pool which has cracks and will need to be redone after this season. I thought about a lighter color but at the same time as you know with a dust storm a white pebble would look brown in no time

The finish is exclusive to California Pools as far as I know. They call it Pebble Plus and this color is called Mediterranean. We just liked the look of it with the water. It makes it look like water from the carribean/mediterranean area. It has pebbles, blue glass beads, and abalone shell. Cal Plastering did the finish. You might be able to call them and ask them what colors they could do. One of the guys mentioned that they have a remodel side of the business now, so they might be able to do it directly for you.

We didn't want white plaster and didn't want the water to look too light blue. We also wanted a darker color to hide the dirt, as you mentioned. It seems to be very forgiving and doesn't really ever look dirty. Then I sweep it with the broom and see a cloud of dust come up that I didn't know was there.
