Freezing temps. Pool slide.

I just opened my pool and right on cue, the forecast calls for a couple freezing low temps this week. 28 F is the lowest temp predicted. I plan to keep the pump running to avoid freezing. I know that moving water shouldn't move, but what about the water that goes to the pool slide? There is a long pvc pipe feeding the slide, with a valve that shuts it off and on.

Will it freeze in 28F morning lows? I suppose I could turn it on, but it splashes out on the side quite a bit and I think I would lose quite a bit of water overnight by splash out. :(
