Band separated on tall filters

Howdy all... I have one of those tall Pentair DE filter systems. It has 4 tall accordion type filters inside. While cleaning those today, I noticed the little white band (think there are 3-4 on each filter) was separating. It appears each one has come apart, actually.

Just wondering if it's time to get new ones or not. Maybe it's not an issue either though... Or is there another white band I need to adhere to it... I don't know. The system is only a year old now. Wasn't positive if those last any longer or what.

Any input is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.
 
The bands aren't really necessary. I have been operating without the bands for several years now. You just need to make sure there are no holes in the filters where debris can make it past.
