Compare circupool and compupool models ?

Hello all,

I'm looking to buy an SWG and I'm hesitating between the CPSC36 and the RJ45, I've seen the prices are quite different and I'd like to know what are the differences between these 2 models, I've read that some user has had a reply from them (they are the same company) over the phone that the RJ is a better product and that's why it's more expensive but I'd like to have a bit more info than that.

The Circupool has a few more bells and whistles. The Compupool is a basic unit.

There are only three visible differences, the plastic cases are different colors, the CircuPool comes with a special return fitting, and the CircuPool warranty is substantially better. Otherwise, they look and behave identically, and are manufactured by the same manufacturer. Personally, I would go for the less expensive one, but some people might like the stronger warranty.

Essentially the only difference is the warranty. Whether or not it is important/useful is up to you.

The Circupool has a Manual Override button - overrides the internal timer - not an issue if you use an external timer like I do.

Like what was said before, no real difference except the special return jet and the warranty, the color, and the layout of the controller.....

Me too. I had no reason to use the internal timer.

I opted for the CompuPool and have been happy with it. Basic unit, makes chlorine.
Most of the warranty's are pro rated anyways. I figure if it lasts me 5+ years, I've got my money's worth.

As far as I can see the only REAL difference is the return jet (because a timer programming override is not worth any money for me....)

What is this return jet, anything useful or another marketing idea based on nothing ?

I looked at the return jet and it wasn't worth it really. You can get a CPSC48 for $750 delivered.

Ok thanks, I'm looking for shipping to France, so far the best I had is 800 on ebay, if anyone can beat this, I can pay with visa, amex or paypal....
