I have a 18000 underground pool. I had a algae issue and was told by my local pool store to shock my pool and add 2 bags of salt. After shocking the pool, the pool was still cloudy and had a yellow tint to it. I took another sample to the pool store and was told to add 2 jugs of chlorine. Now the water is crystal clear, but my salt system is now saying to "check salt" with a reading of 2100. Does adding liquid chlorine to a salt water pool remove the salt from the pool? should I had a 2 more bags of salt?
