Hi guys, I'm working on using a Allen bradley PLC for some home automation. Anyone been down this road, of creating a ladder logic program to handle controls for the pool or any other parts of the home?
There's no limit to what you can do given the right combination of modules. I did a whole house once even the lighting and HVAC using a Modicon PLC, but the A-B will work the same. A pool is actually pretty simple control. Even complex ones are simple for a good PLC programmer. Even the sensors can be incorporated if you get the right type and the right module.
