A twenty year plus pool in Sacramento with the plaster coming off.
So I drained it and am looking at my options.
1) Sand blast of the plaster, apply a bonding agent and re plaster.
2) Jack hammer down to the original gunnite then plaster ontop of it.
Obviously #1 is cheaper but does #2 have any real benefit?
Some people talk of a silicon additive to the plaster, comments?
Finally, any recommendations of contractors to use or avoid in our area?
