What characteristics make up baquacil

Have converted my 22,500 gal above ground pool to baquacil due to not being able to retain chlorine levels because of an unusually warm winter.

Can you tell be what characteristics make up baquacil and does it kill staph and strep germs?

Baqua is a sanitizer, that means it kill algae, bacteria and viruses.
