Hose Float Question

I bought a house with an old Legend cleaner. The hose looks like part of it was replaced at some time. One section of hose has new looking floats that are smooth, and another section has old looking floats that are pitted. Almost like a sacrificial anode of sorts. When I rub the pitted floats, my hand gets gritty.

Should I consider replacing the entire hose or am just being a nervous new pool owner?

Thanks in advance!

It is really a matter of personal preference. I don't think new floats would increase the performance of the unit, but you can purchase the floats individually if you want. This will be cheaper than replacing the entire hose. Is the hose in decent condition?

The sku for the hose floats is ED10P
