Hayward EcoStar - Air in Filter Basket, no prime at low speed

Moderator Edit: Post moved to a new thread. Original thread noted a problem with the Hayward Ecostar not filling pump basket completely on low speed settings.

Has anyone found a fix for this.

My old Jacuzzi pump had a little hose in the basket to pull the air from the top and get rid of it. I don't see any way of getting rid of the air totally in this pump.

It should clear all the air out when run on high speed. It is normal for some air to accumulate in the basket when run on low speed.
