I have to give Rowski the credit for this...had the following items laying around the house for this
1. 1 unused umbrella stand
2. 2 5' pieces of sch40 1 1/4 pipe
3. 1 piece of l5' sch 40 1inch pipe
4. 1piece of 1 1/4 elbow
5. 1 piece of 1 1/4 x 1 elbow
Place 1 1/4 pipe into umbrella stand and cut to length,,I went about 2 inches above the ring
Place 1 1/4 elbow on the top end
cut 1 1/4 pipe long enough to cross over ring by about 2 inches
Place the 1 1/4 x 1 elbow on the end that is over the water
Cut 1 piece of 1 inch pipe long enough to go into pool water...Mine was arount 12 to 14 inches
Take skimmer off of pool bracket and mount to the 1 inch pipe..I used zip ties
There is a little bounce, but thats what I wanted so the skimmer can move up and down with the water in the pool
Hope this helps someone down the road
