Cleaned and lubed pump basket lid and gasket. Seems to have helped just a little. Still have the air though. Now to check gasket to the in flow to the pump, I will have to take the pump apart correct? Also, are there any other suggestions? :?

If you're talking about the union on the front of the pump then you'll have to take it apart. I'd try running water over it again while it's running.
