Another two newbie questions:

1. How do I measure out the correct weight of DE to be added to the skimmer basket after a backflush?

2. What is the preferred way to measure out the exact volume of chlorine bleach to add taken from the pool calculator? What measuring cups do you guys use?

1) Most pool stores sell a scoop that holds pretty close to a lb of DE.

2) I use a graduated rubbermaid pitcher for my chems. I used to use it for chlorine till I got an injection pump.
