DIY 20 x 40 rectangle pool with 4' rounded corners and liner. Has 8' steps and a swim out deep end. Trying to determine best placement for water jets and skimmers throughout the pool to get best water flow possible. The swim out deep end comes with 4 jets, but was planning on putting 2 in the swim out deep end and then 2 on the 8' steps (which are on the same side of the pool as the swim out deep end), but then not sure how to determine optimal placement for the remaining jets (there are 3 more) and the 2 skimmers. Any suggestions on placement appreciated. Thanks!

Prevailing winds help determine where you want to put the skimmers, although with 2 you have more flexibility. I think you want to have a return across from the skimmer to move stuff toward it ... but someone other than me knows better.
